Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets, went to bed at 10pm, fell asleep quickly, woke up at 4am, finally getting up at 4:30.
I showered hoping by being ahead of schedule I might be able
to sneak in a nap before I order my ride.
Last night the Eagles beat the Packers, now the Bears are in
1st place tied with the Lions, and the Packers are a ½ game behind.
Wanna move: Where in Mexico will you be moving to?
I bought Lee Child’s next Jack Reacher book Past Tense
(#23 in the series).
It cost me 16,500 pesos to take a Didi to Unicentro mall. I
found Jose waiting outside the entrance and we went up to Santa Leña for
breakfast. I had the same as last week – a slice of French toast, 2 scrambled
eggs and a latte. I brought Jose up to date on Halloween, The Bears, my visit
with the Internista, and showed him new photos of my granddaughter. Today she’s
8 weeks old and here’s a new photo:
We adjourned to the food court where he won two games, the
first in 23 moves and the second in 43 moves.
It was only 1pm when I ordered a Didi to take me to Viva Envigado
for 18,500 pesos.
I stopped first at a Tossot kiosk on the 2nd
floor towards the metro and had new batteries put in my Timex Ironman watch and
my step counter for 25,000 pesos.
I took the nearby elevator down and cut through Exito
to Auros where I printed a few chess pages then next door bought a new bottle
of Cetaphil Pro Urea skin cream for 115,100 pesos ($30.50) in Medipiel.
I went upstairs and had my usual lunch of granola with
yogurt, acai berries and other fruits in Pergamino. While there, Brit
stopped by and chided me for not being in Los Porteños, in his usual humorous
way.
I went down to the first floor to Urbania where I had
a latte. This is a cute pattern they made on top of the foam.
The price has gone up from 10,100 pesos to 10,900 pesos
unless they added a tip without telling me. I left at 3:30 and returned to the
apt by taxi.
I tried my old step counter but it doesn’t seem to work any
longer. ☹
I watched the highlight version of last night’s game and
again for the Chicago Bears.
I watched two more episodes of The Diplomat, only one
episode remaining.
FUNNY

Terry, I will be staying with a friend in Veracruz for 2 or 3 months to help me improve my Spansh. I will live in Morelia in the highlands of Mexico. Hopefully, I will find a place to live in the El Centro Historico. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The climate is similar to Medellin. I decided on Mexico because it is much easier and less expensive to return to Dallas for family and business reasons. I plan to return to Dallas 3 -4 times per year. I will also see my doctors for my every 6 month visits.
ReplyDeleteI truely enjoy seeing your grandchild's photos!!!
