Last night I went to bed at 10pm, felt like I didn’t fall asleep until 2 or 3am, finally waking at 6am and getting up at 7am.

According to my Fitbit, got in 3,904 steps yesterday and last night slept for 5 hours and 2 minutes for a sleep score of 55, with a sleep efficiency of 64%. ☹

Today is Halloween! I’m ready with a bag of 42 fun-size Payday bars I brought from Chicago and another bag of 33 fun-size Snickers and M&Ms I bought here in Dollar City.

My mouse died but putting in a new battery brought it back to life.

Teresa really wanted some saltine crackers for breakfast so I made a quick trip next door to Ara for a package.

I left at 9:15 and walked to the mall. I recycled a few things then went upstairs to the banking area where I found Av Villas bank closed.

In the future I have to remember they aren’t open on Saturdays.

I found a consignacion ATM available and quickly paid the other bills.

I stopped in Exito and bought a large carton of eggs and noticed Victor, one of the Smartfit trainers, walking through the produce section.

I returned to the apt by taxi and took a 40-minute nap.

We left the apt at 12:45 and took a Didi to El Tesoro mall. It was very crowded with lots of clever costumes these photos can’t do justice:

Teresa checked out H&M while I waited outside on a sofa and took more photos.

The usual restaurants had long lines for lunch but we went up to the 2nd floor and found tables available in Al Alma, the restaurant with the same name as the hotel we stayed in earlier this year in Santafe de Antioquia. We had just sat down together on a bench when I looked down and saw a green 100,000-peso bill lying between us. I pointed it out to Teresa because I knew it hadn’t fallen out of my pocket and she quickly scooped it up. Apparently, it didn’t fall out of her pocket either but I don’t know where it came from. It doesn’t seem likely that neither of us saw it when we were sitting down.

We each had their Cuban sandwich (messy to eat) and a juice for 126,300 pesos ($40).

Teresa checked out Zara while I took a seat on a sofa outside.

We finally left at 3:30 and returned to Envigado by taxi for 22,000 pesos.

We stopped in Ara and bought a few things before returning to the apt.

My Internista finally answered my text message and I have an appointment in Clinica Campestre on Monday, November 9th at 3:45pm.

Between 6:10pm and 8:10pm we had 40 trick or treaters and then when we figured it was over for this year, we had a final group at 9pm for a total of 44.

I will include those photos with tomorrow’s posting.
