Last night we went to bed at 10:45, I fell asleep quickly, got up once during the night, finally waking at 5:30 and getting up at 6:30.

ONEIPAMETATO1453 resigned our game increasing my rating to 1596. I kind of blundered against mekael965 by switching the order of a couple of moves but I found a reply that will at least save me from immediate checkmate.

We had breakfast in the buffet restaurant and headed right out to the pool. Incredibly, at 8:15 in the morning there was no one in the pool area but us. That, of course, changed and in time most of the chairs were taken.

I left at 12:15 to take a shower before meeting Teresa for lunch. There was almost no water pressure and soon there was no water. I heard some guys yelling in the hallways and by the time I dried myself the water pressure was back to normal. Timing is everything!

I met Teresa at 1pm by the pool and we went for lunch. Today my main course was from the pasta station.

We went back out to the pool area but about 4pm we moved to the beach.

There was a wedding nearby that started about 5pm. I don’t remember the exact order but the procession included the groom, bridesmaids, flower girls, mother of the bride, then…oops, no one else. Who we both thought was the mother of the bride (or groom) turned out to be the bride. We were about 50 yards away but we both thought the bride looked considerably older than the groom. ☹

We left about 6pm and returned to our room.

Tomorrow, we have to be in the lobby at 7:20am for our Santo Domingo tour. We already checked and people going on a tour can have breakfast earlier than the usual 7am opening. 😊

Loud music was playing on the 1^st floor that we could hear from our room but luckily they stopped at 9:30.

I thought I was going to watch the Bears game on my laptop but the 7:15 central start time is when I realized we’re not in eastern time, we’re an hour east of that so the game would start at 9:15 for DR. I decided to skip it entirely for tonight, I can catch up later with my DAZN account if it turns out to be worth watching.
