 Last night we went to bed at 10:45, fell asleep quickly, got up once about 5am, finally waking/getting up at 7:30.

Merry Christmas!

I suddenly remembered the $100 bill but it wasn’t in my pants pocket. I don’t remember taking it out at all. Maybe it fell out of my pocket last night and someone got really lucky.

I wore a shirt to breakfast but confirmed with the hostess I only have to wear a shirt with sleeves for dinner.

We had breakfast then headed out to the pool. We found the same location as yesterday - it isn’t under a cabana but next to one and in the shade which serves me perfectly.

We left at 1pm and had lunch in the buffet restaurant. So far we’ve neglected making reservations for any specialty restaurants – French, Dominican, Mexican, Italian, etc.

When we left lunch we stopped at the gym – no one there but loud rap music– and we both completed about 10 minutes of exercises with light weights.

Back outside, more sun.

About 5pm we took a little walk counter clockwise down the beach. The next-door resort is RIU and the next is Cana Bay. We returned to our lounges and soon felt some raindrops. I told Teresa it should pass soon but then I checked the clouds and they were moving the wrong direction so it wouldn’t be ending soon.

Back in our room I checked google maps and if we walk clock-wise we would eventually come to VIK then Princess.

At 6:30 we headed down to the buffet. Lots of seafood and strange things so I have to search to find something for myself but Teresa says she’s very happy with the food. Last April the best food we had in DR was at VIK and the best beach was the Princess.

After dinner we hung out in the lobby for a while.

Teresa wanted to take a walk and down a wing of the hotel we stumbled on the theater. Tonight’s showing of a Las Vegas review starts at 9:30 and it was then 9:20. 

We hung around until it started at 9:45 and we left 10 minutes later. It wasn’t that impressive and it was way too loud.

We returned to our room and got ready for bed.
