Last night we went to bed at 1am, I fell asleep quickly, got up at 6am to use the toilet, and returned to bed. I heard Teresa get up and I asked her to wake me at 8am. She said it was 8am. That’s good because that means I slept another 2 hours.

It’s so nice to be out of sandals and back in shoes and socks. My feet really took a beating that I believe could have been avoided if I had my old Teva sandals.

After my shower, shave, and dressing I went next door to Exito where I bought eggs and milk so the ladies would have something for breakfast. The portero handed me our Tigo/Une wifi bill when I returned.

I met Glenn with Bianca at Los Portenos where we had our usual croissant with scrambled eggs and coffee. I shared with him all our good and bad experiences in Cartagena.

I should have used the restaurant’s restroom before I left because when I returned to the apt Teresa informed me we have no running water. Sigh!

My daughter Jeannie and her boyfriend Jacob adopted a 5-month-old dog and named him Rebel.

Our water came back on about 2pm.

I did a quick calculation and I figure our 5-night Cartagena trip cost Teresa and I a little less than $1500.

Well, I think we hit a high of about 86 degrees today.

We lost water again at 3:30 and it came back at 5:30.
