Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets and went to bed at 10pm, got up once at 12:15, again at 5am, finally waking/getting up at 6:30.

I put the empty ice container back in the freezer and turned on the ice maker.

The plan for today is to have lunch in Santafe mall then do some shopping.

I worked with ChatGPT in diagnosing my cursor problem and just when I was at the screen to turn Bluetooth back on ChatGPT timed me out until noon.

I left the apt at 9:15 and met Marcos at Tostao just after 9:30. Johana has a January 30th appointment at the US embassy in Bogota to hopefully get a US tourist visa. I wish her luck! I informed him about Amazon charging 19% VAT on all purchases for Colombia and he offered to bring back anything I want to send him when he’s in Arizona next month. I just may have something.

I stopped in Mercado Madrid and purchased a small package of 10 eggs for 7,700 pesos before returning to the apt.

I figured out how to turn Bluetooth and WiFi back on and all is good again. It turns out the mouse battery wasn’t the problem after all – good thing I kept it.

Well, now I can see the cursor but it doesn’t work when I click on something.

We left the apt at 12:15 and took a Didi to Santafe mall. We had lunch in Crepes & Waffles for 90,450 pesos ($24.25). In Punto Blanco I purchased a swimsuit and 3-pack of underwear for 180,880 pesos ($48.50). In Velez Teresa bought a linen blouse for 269,900 pesos ($72.50). In Linea Estetica we bought skin cream for me and 3 other things for Teresa for 483,940 pesos ($129) which she assured me she got on discount.

We met Esmeralda and Alejandro in Crepes & Waffles at 5pm and they paid me back the 3,000,000 pesos they borrowed from me last year. Esmeralda had supper and the rest of us ice cream for 85,650 pesos ($23).

We left by the side entrance and we found a taxi waiting for us and we returned to the apt for 18,000 pesos. I learned the minimum fare for a taxi is still 7,500 pesos but bus fare has probably gone up a few hundred pesos.

I had a problem with my JBL TV headphones. Not sure if the battery has died but it uses Bluetooth also. I’ll check that tomorrow.

I heard ICE shot a couple more people in Portland, Oregon.

My step count total for today was 3,836 steps.

FUNNY
