Last night I went to bed at 10:30, got up twice during the night, woke up at 5:45 and got up at 6:30.
It was obvious we got some rain during the night as it was still raining when I got up.

Per Medellin Guru, as of this afternoon Colombia has a total of 24,104 ð 25,366 ð 26,688 cases with 853 deaths. Medellin has 487 ð 508 ð 514 cases, an increase of 6 from May 28th to 29th. Looking at the 6-day averages Colombia’s curve is still accelerating.

Terry, DarnOld Trump is not cutting off his nose to spite his face. What he's been engaged in doing is anything and everything he can think of to distract the public's attention away from his own failing to deal early-on and honestly with the pandemic.
ReplyDeleteSomething I also sorta suspect is that DT purposely foot-dragged intending to let the disease go a little out-of-control and then, boom, expected that he could take action and quickly quell it so he'd look like some super hero in the public's eyes. But by waiting even that little bit allowed COVID-19 to zoom out of control.
Nor did it help that DT pooh-poohed scientists' warnings for what was needed to prepare for the (by that time) expanding pandemic. What was (and still is) needed are the prompt mass-production of medical supplies, of PPEs, of tests, etc.
So DT can continue to come up with whatever 'parlour tricks' he wishes to but I'll make a point of focusing on how he obfuscated the danger of COVID-19 to the tune of trying to make himself look good in the eyes of the public at the expense of public health.
Can't wait to send off my mail-in ballot in a few more months!
