Self-isolation Day 57.

Last night I went to bed at 10:45, fell asleep quickly and didn’t wake until 6am. I finally got up at 6:30.

Per the Today show the US has 1,362,684 ð 1,384,424 cases with 81,816 à 83,557 deaths. (The arrows are intended to show change from yesterday.)

Teresa rescheduled her dental appointment for today.

At 9:30 it started drizzling here.

Teresa left at 11am to pick up her monthly cancer prescription in Sabaneta. She returned at 11:30 and I understood they don’t have it so now she needs to go to Medellin to see if they have it. She called them and confirmed they have it. In fact she’s going to buy 3 boxes so she won’t have this problem next month. (I just hope she’s not taking some from someone else who will need it.) She left again just before noon.

She returned at 12:45 with the 3 boxes.

I made arrangements with Dr. Rendon, our endodontist, for him to pick up the remaining 15-16 N95 facemasks I have in my box tomorrow.

Very cool today, we barely hit 80 degrees.

I think I’m addicted to the Netflix series Designated Survivor.

There was something on the evening news about power rationing starting next year.

The US has 1,373,172 ð 1,392,519 coronavirus cases with 82,161 à 83,818 deaths.

Per Medellin Guru, as of this afternoon Colombia has a total of 12,272 à 12,930 cases.  Medellin has 308 à 312 cases, an increase of 4 from May 11th to 12th.  (Compare that to Bogota that had 122 new cases.) The increase in coronavirus cases in Colombia over the past three weeks is primarily due to increases in only seven cities: Barranquilla, Bogotá, Cali, Cartagena, Leticia, Soledad and Villavicencio. The capital of Amazonas, Leticia, remains at the epicenter of the Colombian outbreak and the region’s many indigenous groups fear “extinction” by Covid-19.

Another coronavirus joke

All our dogs think we quit our jobs to spend more time with them.

All our cats think we got fired for being the loser they always knew we were.
