Last night I went to bed at 10pm, fell asleep quickly, got up once at midnight, again at 5am, finally waking/getting up at 6:30.
According to my Fitbit, got in 8,029 steps yesterday and
last night slept for 7 hours and 17 minutes for a sleep score of 73, with a
sleep efficiency of 88%. 😊
Alejandro graduated from college yesterday.
He looks good in a suit and tie.
I had a short nap after breakfast.
I left the apt at 9am and found Smartfit very busy. I
had to change the order of my routine and wait on other machines. One of the
challenges is people sitting at a machine looking at their cellphones and young
ladies hogging a machine chatting amongst themselves. I completed my workout
minus the treadmill.
I had a latte outside Los Porteños for an hour before
returning to the apt.
I took a 39-minute nap after lunch.
It was about 1:30 when Teresa reminded me she had a 3pm
manicure appointment and asked me to meet her at Fika café afterward. I
agreed as long as it wasn’t raining and it immediately started raining – a
downpour that lasted only 30 minutes.
I informed Teresa that Sunday’s Bears game isn’t until late
(8:20pm) so we will have time to go to El Retiro and back.
Teresa left for her appointment and I left a few minutes
after.
I noticed the new store Sugar District has opened and it’s deeper than I thought.
I took the long but flat route to Fika café where I
had a latte while waiting for Teresa. I felt pretty chilly in my shorts and
sleeveless t-shirt but had I been dressed warmer I would have been sweating on
my walk there.
When Teresa arrived, I noticed it was raining lightly. She
had a latte and we shared a chicken empanada. She was in flip flops the beauty
shop loaned her so I ordered a Didi to return us to our apt.
I finished reading John Grisham & Jim McCloskey’s Framed:
Astonishing True Stories of Wrongful Convictions on my Kindle before going
to bed at 10pm; it was raining lightly.
