I slept well only getting up once during the night and I
didn’t flush the toilet. I woke up at
8:45, found we had water again and finally flushed it.
It’s another overcast day, it might turn to rain or it might
clear up later.
At 9:40am it started raining pretty hard.
I received a security message from the US Embassy that I
posted separately.
Among this week’s new US movie releases I would like to
see Lion (7.5) and Allied (7.2).
Locally, I would like to see Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (6.3) playing at 2:50 pm in El Tesoro
and 6:30pm in Santafe.
Teresa called the chess league office 434 0004 and was told
to call back on or after December 16th about a tournament starting
December 21st. The fee will
be 50mil. We left early for the gym in order to pay the 42,100 fee (about $12) for the month. It was
misting slightly and while we were there it rained. Today the 2 leg workout machines were fixed. The rain had stopped by the time we left.
When I got back to the apt Laura had an urgent need to speak
to me. She has a friend who told her
about Black Friday in the States and that she could get an Apple iPhone for
$100. I told her that was unlikely,
maybe she could get a $100 discount. I
told her to wait until Cyber Monday to search the internet for iPhone deals.
I finished Steven Moss’s
The Rookie: An Odyssey through Chess (and Life) and downloaded Bill
O’Reilly’s Killing Patton.
T-shirt of the day: If it’s not a flip then it’s a flop.
