Self-isolation Day 93.

Last night I went to bed at 10:45, got up twice during the night, finally waking/getting up at 7am.

Last night I played 4 games on Chess.com, winning 1, drawing 1, and losing 2. I’ve seen a pattern where my opponents play the 6.Bc4 variation in the Najdorf Sicilian so now I have something to research and study.

I understand Teresa wants to go to Exito today to talk to the salesman about getting someone to connect the water line to our refrigerator.

My back feels pretty good this morning.

There was something on the news about the mall stores being open all night. I’m guessing that’s for the June 19th “sin IVA” (not tax) sales. I think Teresa is planning to meet with girlfriends to go shopping.

1,500,000 more Americans filed for unemployment last week bringing the total to more than 45 million.

For the first time in nearly two months, Beijing's dealing with a new coronavirus outbreak (read: 137 new infections in six days). Authorities said it could be linked to human-to-human transmission at a Beijing food market. In response, the city has tested more than 350,000 people and cancelled more than 1,000 flights to and from its airport. Schools are suspended. And dozens of neighborhoods are back to doing temperature checks. But that's not all: at least four other provinces have linked new infections to the market, causing some cities to impose quarantine measures.

Dr. Anthony Fauci reminded everyone fearing a second wave that we're still in a "first wave," and said people are being "risky" by not adhering to safety guidelines.

Previews of John Bolton’s memoir show the former national security adviser has some bombshell allegations against the president. Like his claim that President Trump asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to buy US farm products to help him win reelection. And that Trump seemed to endorse Beijing's detention of hundreds of thousands of Uighurs in concentration camps. The book also implies Democrats should have looked into Trump's dealings with Xi. But they come months after Bolton himself refused to testify in the House impeachment hearings. Now, the president is calling Bolton "a liar." And the Justice Department is trying to stop the book's release next week on the grounds of protecting national security.

We delayed going to Exito and at 5pm it started pouring so I guess we’ll be going on Saturday.

The coronavirus continues to infect about 20,000 people in the U.S. every day. Cases have been gradually increasing roughly since Memorial Day weekend in a number of states, including Arizona, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas and others. “These are outbreaks. We’re seeing doubling times now falling under 10 days,” Dr. Scott Gottlieb said. “These are on the cusp of getting out of control.”

Fears over the risk of coronavirus infection at President Donald Trump's rally in Tulsa this Saturday continue as new cases emerge in Oklahoma. New infections in the state have surged by over 50 percent in the past two weeks, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.

The state recorded a total of 1,421 new cases from June 11 to 17, just over a 52 percent increase from the 678 new cases reported between June 4 and 10, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

Tulsa County, whose county seat is the city of Tulsa, saw a nearly 60 percent jump in new infections in the last week from the previous week.

A Trump replay from March 21st: Trump says "We're going to be able to make that drug (chloroquine) available almost immediately. And that's where the FDA has been so great. They've gone through the approval process - it's been approved."  The FDA attempted to quickly reverse the lie.

The US has 2,147,506  ð 2,170,258 ð 2,201,399 coronavirus cases with 116,958 ð 117,680  ð 118,458 deaths.

Per Medellin Guru, as of this afternoon Colombia has a total of 54,931 ð 57,046 ð 60,217 cases with 1,950 deaths.  Medellin has 939 ð 977 ð 1,040 cases, an increase of 63 from June 17th to 18th. Colombia’s rolling 6-day average of new cases is continues to increase. Medellin is now included in the 15 cities with the most increasing cases. Envigado has a total of 53 cases, an increase of 1 from June 16th to 18th.
