Last night I took a Zopiclona and went to bed at 10:45, got up once during the night at 4:30, took half a melatonin, was awakened later by Teresa’s light snoring (usually all I have to do is turn over and she stops – this time I had to wait for a loud motorcycle to go by), finally waking/getting up at 8am.
Teresa left at 8:30 for the gym.
I left the apt at 9:30 and walked to the mall. I recycled
a plastic Coke bottle then went to Todo Fresa for a café con leche.
After, I bought a few things at Exito and returned to the apt by taxi.
I noticed that my c: drive was 90% full. At first, I
considered upgrading it to a larger hard drive but it would take some finagling
to move my operating system and existing programs to the new drive. After some
investigation I found my Downloads file contained 40.5GB and after deleting them
my c:/ drive is only 61% full so I’m good for awhile.
I texted Jose and he responded, “it is a slow process
to get back to normal”.
I had a 2-hour chess lesson with Juan Castro.
Teresa beat me in parcheesi today 4 games to 2.
Teresa informed me we are out of eggs (why couldn’t
she have told me earlier since I was in Exito today) so I’ll be having
breakfast in Habia Una Vez tomorrow.
I finished reading Walter Tevis’ The Queen’s Gambit.
It must have been the easiest to screen write as it was virtually identical to
the mini-series.
