I slept through the night, finally waking/getting up at 6am.
Just slight congestion in my nose, no more running, and
feeling like I have my energy back again.
Teresa got up at 7am and instead of Hija Mia she now wants to go to Los Porteños for breakfast.
We left the apt at 8am and had an underwhelming breakfast in Los Porteños. The coffee was cold, a little bitter and the food itself was adequate but nothing special.
I knew we should have gone to Hija Mia
or Philly Steaks for an American breakfast. We talked about visiting
Laura next summer, probably next September, after a few days in Chicago for my
granddaughter’s birthday we’ll spend a few weeks in Boston. I understand we can
stay in Laura’s apt and borrow her car when she’s working so we won’t have
those expenses. We talked about apple picking in Chicago or Boston.
I informed Teresa I want to reserve Tuesday for setting up
my new computer.
I received an email from Capital One that Best Buy is
refunding me $22.04. Don’t know what that’s for.
We left at 9:30, stopped in Ara to buy a few
groceries then sat on a cement bench in our little park next to the playground
for a bit. At her request I sent her all the photos I took in Chicago.
I neglected to bring back some salted-in-the-shell peanuts
for my Bears games. ☹
I watched the Bears play the Miami Dolphins to a 24-24 tie.
Teresa went to visit with her mother while I went for a nap.
I fell asleep quickly and slept for an hour.
I think the mother is trying to coax the squab out of the
planter. I think it’ll be gone this week.
I balanced my Capital One checking account with all my US
charges for July.
I watched some news but didn’t want to start season 3 of Reacher
until I finish my current Reacher book so as not to confuse things.
I took a Zopiclona and went to bed at 10pm.
FUNNY
