Last night I went to bed at 10pm, took a while to fall asleep, got up once at 4am, finally waking/getting up at 6:15.
We left the apt at 11:15 and took a Didi to Jardin de
Botanico. There was no line to get in and it wasn’t crowded, at least
initially.
Shortly after we arrived, we found a vacant bench where we ate half the spaghetti with ground beef Teresa had brought for us. We also shared one of the two small Cokes I brought. Teresa looked at a number of stores set up but it seemed to be the same stuff as before. At one point we were resting on a bench when a “leaf” fell next to another bench close by where a couple were seated. You’ll have to zoom in and look behind the bench to see it.
The point is that the “stem” of the leaf is like a piece of
plywood and if it hit it someone directly, I’m sure it could do some damage.
This is Teresa playing Hide n Seek in the “jungle”.
This is the main flower viewing area.
Teresa brought me this fruit and while she was still a
distance away she said it was an apple. Obviously it's not an apple.
We left at 4:30, Didi wanted 34,300 pesos for a ride so we
took the metro. On the way Teresa told me she wanted a hamburger. When we
arrived at Ayura station there weren’t any taxis so we walked the 5 blocks to McDonalds.
We each had the McNifica combo but incredibly they didn’t have packets of
ketchup.
We returned to the apt by 7:15.
I’ve been getting these threatening emails for the past few
weeks but they don’t identify themselves as Yahoo, Google, etc so I think its
just a scam.
I found the Jack Reacher series on Stremio and watched the
first episode.

Terry, thank you for all of the pictures and the info about the big green berry. It looked as if both of y'all enjoyed your day!!
