Last night I went to bed at 10pm, fell asleep fairly quickly, got up once at 2am, finally getting up at 7am.
I left the apt at 9:15 and walked to Tostao to meet
Marcos. He didn’t show up by 9:40 so I left. It turns out the message from him
re: our meeting was from last Friday re: our meeting on Saturday. My bad! I
walked to Los Portenos where I had a latte while continuing reading my
new chess book. I left at 11:30 and bought a small tiramisu cake in Pepo’s
Cake before returning to the apt.
Alejandro arrived at 1pm and moved my Keep My Notes app from
my old A52 cellphone to my new one (A36), moved Teresa’s Whatsapp chats from
her A04 to her new one (A52), changed Teresa’s Whatsapp so it had her correct
phone number. He then set her old A06 cellphone to the original factory
settings and I removed the old Exito sim card. With Teresa on the phone we got
our DirecTV service cancelled, I don’t have to pay anything more, just drop off
the decoder box at a Servientrega office between the 22nd and 30th
of August. He had to leave for a class and I gifted him the tri-fold Quick
Study Academic notes on Statistics I bought in Staples and just a quick
look he seemed noticeably impressed.
Having problems installing ChessBase 16 on my new laptop. In
the end it won’t recognize my Activation key as being correct so I sent an
email to the company asking for assistance.
I’m no longer getting Outlook emails except Google emails to
“Upgrade Before Your Files Are Deleted” even though I’ve already reduced my
Cloud Storage to 55%.
The larger baby pigeon has grown feathers but the smaller
one doesn’t seem to be doing well at all. We don’t think it’s going to make it.
I started reading the book my son gifted me when we were in
Chicago, John Green’s Everything is Tuberculosis. I borrowed Teresa’s
reading glasses, cheaters we bought in Walgreen’s when we were in Chicago and
they work perfectly for me reading books as well as Teresa working on her
jewelry projects.
