Last night I went to bed at 10pm, got up once at 2am, finally waking/getting up at 5:45.
Today is a holiday here, St. Joseph’s Day.
I left the apt at 8:15 and found Smartfit nearly
deserted so I had no problem going from machine to machine. Today I increased the
treadmill to 14 minutes. I talked to Michael for a few minutes about Colombian
Visa options. I think what he will do is split his year between Colombia,
Turkey and Indonesia. He told me the guy who spoke English to me last week is
from Ohio. I’ll catch him one of these days.
I had a latte in Ganso y Castor for an hour (no sign
of any squirrels) before returning to the apt.
I completed a lesson in Noel Studer’s Next Level Training.
Teresa and I left at 12:30pm and took a Didi to El Tesoro
mall. Teresa ducked in Mini So for a minute to ask a question then we
continued on to Valentina’s for lunch. We each had their delicious
chicken sandwich with a latte. The check came to 102,703 pesos ($25) and Teresa
commented that she thought the sandwiches were expensive – 37,000 pesos ($9) each.
She checked out the clothes in Zara and H&M
while I waited outside; she came out proclaiming everything was ugly.
She wanted ice cream so we went upstairs to Percimon for their frozen yogurt but there was a long
line so we just got cones in Mimo’s.
There was no line for a taxi and we easily returned to the apt.
I made plans to meet Jose for chess tomorrow.
I texted Eduardo Madrid bakery and ordered 16 English
muffins for Wednesday afternoon pickup.
