Last night I went to bed at 10pm, got up twice during the night, finally waking/getting up at 6am.
I left the apt at 8am, the copy center was still closed so I
continued on to Los Portenos. I had a latte while completing 12 more
puzzles in The Woodpecker Method. I left at 9:45, printed our Hosteria de la
Plaza Menor reservation in the copy center (which had just opened), and bought
a bottle of liquid laundry detergent in Ara before returning to the apt.
Teresa left at 11am to get a fingernail repaired. She
returned at 1pm and she brought my package. It contained my allergy pills, my
new chess book, January & February Chess Life magazines, my 2024
1099s and my Niles-Maine library card. 😊
Kinda like Christmas!
I hung around all afternoon because I thought Teresa wanted
to go to a shoe repair shop in City Plaza but in the end, she decided it
probably wouldn’t be open on the weekend. ☹
I’ve almost completed another lesson in Tactics Ninja on
ChessMood.com.
Teresa wants to go to someplace called San Pedro tomorrow. I
suggested we go to one of our usual places and she can ask about San Pedro in
the bus terminal.
I made a last trip to the bathroom before going to bed and
the toilet doesn’t flush. I took off the top and the connection between the
handle and the plug has broken. We’ll see if I can patch it temporarily
tomorrow.
