Last night I went to bed at 10pm, got up once during the night, finally waking/getting up at 6:30am.
I met Gleen with Bianca at Olivenza at 9am. He lost
20# with his stomach problem but since then he’s taking fiber and drinks and
appears to have maintained his weight. We also discussed fiber optic internet,
ChatGPT, Youtube TV, ATMs, and my visit with the Rheumatologist.
I left at 11am and returned to the apt. Teresa had already
left for her special mass in San Pelegrino.
At 12:15 a drizzle started.
I left at 12:30 and took a Didi to Jamaiquita in
Laureles for 19,000 pesos. Upstairs was closed so I took a small table downstairs.
I set up my chess set then ordered their beef stir fry and a Coke. The beef was
flavorful but a little too chewy. I finished half of it and got the rest to go.
The rain turned into a downpour and there was obviously a leak as a few drops
got on me and the board.
The rain had stopped by the time Lawrence arrived at 2:15.
While we were playing, he got a phone call then informed me he had just
received the news he’s diabetic. He also talked to someone else on the phone
that is thinking of coming to Medellin next week for a visit.
Today I hadn’t brought my clock but we played pretty quickly.
At one point I was ahead 6 wins to 4 but in the end, he won with 7 wins to 6
wins. I left at 7:15 and returned to the apt by Didi for 24,100 pesos.
For supper I had the rest of the beef stir fry which Teresa
heated up on the stove top.
I started my pre sleep routine and went to bed just before
10pm.
FUNNY
