Last night I went to bed at 10pm, got up once during the night, finally waking/getting up at 6:30am.
Another overcast morning.
I left the apt at 8am and ran into Daniel as soon as I
entered Smartfit. He asked when we’re going to play and I saw he had Chess.com
on his cellphone. I’m not sure how he did it but he found QR codes on our
phones and we got set up as friends. I completed my workout and as I was
leaving, Daniel asked when we’re going to play. I told him now, one move per
day, but I doubt he understood.
While having a latte in Ganso y Castor I sent Daniel
a challenge request to play a correspondence game where you have to make at
least one move every 24 hours.
I left at 10:30 and returned to the apt.
Teresa returned at noon.
Teresa left at 2pm for her craft class.
I left at 3:30, printed some Firestick notes, and had a
latte in Eduardo Madrid. Teresa arrived at 5:30 and she had a latte and we
shared a pastel de spinaca (sp?).
While we were waiting in the bakery there was a shower but
it only lasted 5 minutes.
We left at 6:15 and stopped in Ara to buy a few
things before returning to the apt.
I started my game vs Daniel and he’s playing pretty well. My
problem is because this is his first correspondence game he only has a rating
of 800 and if I lose, I’ll lose a ton of points.
A month from today we’ll be in the airport for our trip to
Chicago, via Houston.
