Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets and went to bed at 10pm, got up once during the night, waking/getting up at 6:15.
I left at 8am for Smartfit. I completed my workout
but had to alter the order of the machines. Just bad timing.
I had a latte in Ganso y Castor (another new waiter) but
my photos of the squirrel taking the peanut were blurry. ☹
I won a game against Troyclough increasing my rating to
1567.
The battery on the new computer is completely dead. I have
no idea how it could happen when I purposely didn’t turn it on. ☹ On the other hand, my new power cord is in Florida
and I’ve released it for delivery. 😊
I received an email from Amazon that my package
(Comet and plumber’s putty) is out for delivery.
I left the apt at 12:30 and took a Didi to the new side of Mayorca
mall. Teresa soon joined me in Il Forno. She had the salmon and I tried
their chicken Cesar salad. We each had fresh juices, mango for me and mandarin
for Teresa and the check came to 117,126.
We went down two levels and to the other side to Louis
Barton but when I took my two shirts out of the bag the receipt wasn’t
there. It appeared they weren’t fazed and would allow me to make an exchange. I
ended up trading my two large slim fit shirts for a size 40 and two large regular
fit for an additional 30,000 pesos.
We returned to Envigado by taxi and Teresa got out just down
the hill from the cultural center for her crafts class and I continued on to
the apt so I could drop off some things.
As I entered the porteria the porter handed me a small box that
contained my plumber’s putty and a container of Comet for Teresa. (Those were
both things that, according to ChatGPT, I wouldn’t be able to bring on the
plane from Chicago.)
I walked to Los Portenos where I had a latte and killed a couple hours going through one of my chess books. I saw this snack special sign on my table
Not bad, a dessert, a café, a bottle of water, and a 35%
discount coupon for Americanino.
I left just after 5pm and found Teresa already sitting at a
table in Eduardo Madrid bakery. She had a quiche and a Coke and I splurged and
had a cinnamon roll and another latte.
We left at 5:45 and returned to the apt.
I watched another episode of Hostage then switched to
the new and that’s when I learned some important conservative guy named Charlie
Kirk had been assassinated in Utah. Well, until America resolves their 2nd
amendment issue there’s going to be a lot more assassinations and mass shootings
because you can’t have armed guards protecting everyone.
FUNNY
