Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets, went to bed at 10pm, took a while to fall asleep, got up twice during the night, finally waking/getting up at 6:30.
Teresa left at 8am for her gym class and I left 20 minutes
later for Olivenza. I gifted Tanya, one of our porteros, one of my remaining
Butterfinger bars. I stopped in Carulla and priced their Canadian maple
syrup at 71,000 pesos. I checked my Pricesmart app and it’s only 59,900
pesos there. Makes sense because we pay membership fees to buy things we can’t
normally find here and at lower prices. I mentioned this to Glenn and he
informed me they have turkey breast now. I confirmed that on the app, hopefully
they have it at both locations. He told me the 3rd season of The
Diplomat has been released but it looks like they are planning a 4th
season. I gifted him one of my last Butterfingers. He left early because he
felt a little nauseous.
I bought a box of Barilla short pasta in Carulla
before returning to the apt.
Teresa returned at 11am.
At noon I sat down to watch the Bears game and couldn’t
figure out why I couldn’t find it on DAZN. Then I realized I’ve been f….d by
America’s time change and the game won’t start until 1pm.
I ate most of my last bag of peanuts with a Coke and watched
the Bears eke out a win 47-42. Wow what a game! I heard the lead changed 8
times and there was even a successful onside kick. They are now 5-3 and because
the Packers and Lions lost they are now ½ game out of first place in the NFC
North division.
I watched the first episode of The Diplomat on
Netflix.
For supper Teresa reheated my leftovers from yesterday; it
tasted better reheated than it did yesterday in the restaurant.
I watched 60
Minutes on Chicago’s CBS.
FUNNY
