Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets, went to bed at 10pm, fell asleep quickly, got up twice during the night, finally waking/getting up at 5:30.
Thanks! Wanna move.
I left the apt at 8:20 and arrived in Olivenza early and
had a latte while I waited for Glenn to arrive at 8:55.
I filled him in on my experience with my Internista, Dr. Ricardo
Restrepo, and he might use him as his own. He told me about a step tracking app
named Pacer which I downloaded to my cellphone. I asked him about using Rappi
to order from Pricesmart but he said he’s so tired of Rappi’s
incompetence (they owe him 200,000 pesos in undelivered orders) he doesn’t use
them any longer. And Pricesmart changed their app and now you can’t tell
which location their product inventory is referring to.
I had their calentao with scrambled eggs and another latte.
I left at 11am and walked back to the apt. I can see the app
is tracking me but I suspect it’s using gps and calculating my steps based on
my height. (I changed my mind on that later when I went down some stairs and
the app counted my steps.)
Teresa left at 12:45 and took a Didi to Parque Sabaneta to meet
with a girlfriend.
I finished the last of my peanuts with a Coke while watching
the Bears eke out another victory 24-20 against the NY Giants. The Bears are 6-3
but now their schedule gets much more difficult. Not sure how many more wins
they will get with all the injuries they have.
I left the apt at 4:45 and walked to Clap Burger where
I had their Classic Cheese Burger combo which came with fries and a Coke for
36,900 pesos.
Next door I noticed a tienda called OXXO which I’ve
seen before but never been inside.
This time I did and it’s like a 7-11 back in the States, mainly
snacks and drinks.
I returned to the apt and watched 60 Minutes on
Medellin TV then started my pre-sleep reading routine.
We had a rainstorm come through from 7:30 to 8:30 and it returned
at 9:15 and was still raining when I went to bed at 9:15.
FUNNY

Good day, Terry. OXXO is hugh in Mexico. It is the main place to pay all of the utility bills. Also, other online bills. Many Mexicans do not have bank accounts. I will be living there before year end (FINALLY). I was relived to find OXXO is the anser for one stop bill paying.
