Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets, went to bed at 9:30, fell asleep quickly, got up once at 12:30, again at 3:30, finally waking/getting up at 6am.

I left the apt at 8am and found Smartfit about as busy as usual. I completed my workout in the proper order including 14 minutes on the treadmill topping out at 130bps. I had a latte as usual in Ganso y Castor.

I took this photo of the tree from my seat outside

Then again zooming in as a squirrel was looking for another peanut

There was a couple there with a 1-month-old girl and I showed the husband a photo of Annie James. I left at 10:30 and returned to the apt.

At noon I changed clothes and ordered a Didi and took this photo from the bridge of the area across the street from Viva Envigado.

I understand it used to be a glass factory. They spent years removing underground tanks (oil?) and now are building the supporting structure for what I hear will be an apartment complex.

I arrived at Il Forno in Mayorca right at the agreed time of 12:30; Teresa arrived a few minutes later. She had her usual salmon and I their Pollo Toscano and a fresh mango juice.

A quote from the book Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity by Peter Attia, MD I just read, “If there is one type of food that I would eliminate from everyone’s diet if I could, it would be fructose-sweetened drinks, including both soda and fruit juices, which deliver too much fructose, too quickly, to a gut and liver that much prefer to process fructose slowly. Just eat fruit and let nature provide the right amount of fiber and water.”

The total check came to 117,454 pesos ($31).

We went down to Medipiel where Teresa purchased some fancy shampoo for 310,100 pesos ($82.50).

We went down to the basement where we caught a taxi back to Envigado. Teresa got out as usual down the hill from the cultural center where she has her craft class. I continued on to Antonio’s Gelato then walked around the corner to Los PorteƱos. I was having a latte about 2:30 when a rainstorm started. I eventually moved to a table closer to the center then when the wind picked up I moved inside entirely.

I left at 5pm and moved to Eduardo Madrid bakery where I ordered 16 bagels for pickup next Tuesday afternoon. I took a seat on their bench and waited for Teresa who arrived at 5:30. She wasn’t interested in eating anything so we just walked back to the apt.

I finished The Diplomat, season 3 on Netflix with another cliff hanger at the end. Looks like I’ll have to wait until next year for the answer.

I watched the news about emails connecting tRump to Jeffrey Epstein. There’s a reason Republicans don’t want the Jeffrey Epstein files to become public. I wonder what it could be.

FUNNY
