Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets and went to bed at 9:30, got up once during the night, finally waking/getting up at 6:45.

I left the apt at 8:15 and walked the two blocks to Smartfit. It seemed less busier than usual but I still had to alter the order of my workout a bit.

I had a latte in Ganso y Castor and caught this squirrel as he was leaving with my peanut.

My daughter is still at home, no change, but will let me know when something develops. 😊

I left at 10:30 and returned to the apt.

I put a hold on Past Tense (Jack Reacher #23) but there are 25 people ahead of me and only 2 copies to share. This time to get a list of possible books, I searched for New York Times #1 and ended up borrowing Jack Carr’s Red Sky Mourning to read on my Kindle.

Charlie Kirk, “It’s worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment.”

I left the apt at 1:30, walked to the mall where I recycled a plastic pill container then went up to the 3rd floor to a store named Jagi. They sell baseball caps that you can design on your own. I picked out a white cap with an adjustable Velcro closure and chose the word “girl” in navy blue above “GRANDPA” in orange (Chicago Bears colors). I suspect Jacob is a Green Bay Packers fan. Their machine wasn’t working today so I’ll pick it up on Tuesday afternoon. It only cost 79,900 pesos ($20) and I paid with my Capital One card so I know it’s working okay.

I stopped in Home Center and purchased a glass container Teresa requested for 19,900 pesos.

I had a latte in Urbania and soon an obviously pregnant lady and her husband sat at the next table. I showed them the photo of my granddaughter and learned she’s expecting in October.

I left at 4pm and returned to the apt by taxi.

Both my kids would like me to bring more coffee so I have to plan for that.

I watched some news then read John Grisham’s short story Witness to a Trial.

  1. Terry, your red squirrels are so much cuter than the ones in Texas. I do enjoy your pictures of the red ones, thanks. I send a lot of your postings of the jokes and unusual picture jokes to my great Ns. I now have the nick name of "Silly Uncle Jack" (Jack is my nickname). I love that they finally recognise that superior quality of mine!!! & yours by extension!!
