Last night I took Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets and went to bed at 10pm, fell asleep quickly, got up twice during the night, finally waking/getting up just before 6am.
Google Flights this morning quoted $823 for my round trip to
Chicago through United.
I left the apt at 8am and completed my workout in Smartfit but
since it was busier than usual I had to alter the order of my last few
machines.
I had a latte in Ganso y Castor and observed the
small dogs challenging all the other dogs in the area, at least if you can see
around or through the legs of the guys who stopped right in my line of sight.
My laptop battery is down to 29% but it’s plugged in; I have
no idea what’s happening. It took me a while to find the serial number - it’s
engraved on the bottom of the PC in very small print. I checked with HP online
and it appears Amazon had it in their warehouse for about 2 years so to HP I’m
out of their warranty period. I don’t have time to argue with HP because I need
my laptop so I purchased a new power cord kit for $122.29, expedited delivery
included.
I left the apt at 2:30 and stopped at Los PorteƱos
but they were playing some awful, loud, rap music. No other customers were
there so I asked the waitress to change it but all she did was turn it down so
I moved to Ganso y Castor. I had a latte there and at one point a
waitress appeared near me by the entrance carrying a cake. I told her she could
put it down and we’ll share it. She came back a couple minutes later and gifted
me a slice and I asked her who it’s from and she said the restaurant. I’d
almost finished my latte but I still managed to consume it pretty quickly.
I figured out I would either move my 2025 blog file to
OneDrive so I could work on it on my old laptop or I would move it temporarily using
an USB drive.
I left at 5pm for Eduardo Madrid and took a seat on
their bench because I didn’t know how long it would take for Teresa to arrive.
She arrived at 5:45 but wasn’t hungry so we didn’t stay. We stopped in Ara
on the way back to the apt and bought milk and arepas.
I turned on my new laptop to quickly move the blog file and
was surprised to see the battery charged 100%. I still don’t know what happened
but it appears I can’t depend on the power cord so better that I have a new one
anyway.
I have a number of things I want to bring back from Chicago
but since I’ll just have a carry-on I checked with ChatGPT to see which items
would or would not be allowed through TSA. I purchased plumber’s putty and
Comet cleanser from Amazon for direct delivery to Colombia, using the last of
my gift card balance.

Hello, Terry
ReplyDeleteI do not know your exercise routine, so I am pasteing part of an email I subscribe to regarding it.
So if you’re one of those people who does cardio on lift days at the gym…
Be sure to do it after your weights workout. One study showed that participants who performed a 20-minute cardio session before lifting weights…
Experienced a significant decrease in their workout performance.1
In short, if you do your cardio before weights…
Then you’ll be more fatigued during your lifts…
your strength will suffer…
And you won’t make as much progress with your lifting over time.
