Last night I went to bed at 10:30, got up once at 3:30,
waking/getting up at 7am.
Last night I played 4 games on Chess.com, winning 3 of
4. I was losing the last game when I forked both of his rooks with my knight
and he tried to save the wrong one. I took the other rook with check and the original
rook he moved to a bad spot and I got that one too. My new rating is 1430. Now we’ll
see if I can get it up to 1450.
Teresa left at 9am for her walk.
I watched the first 20 minutes of the Today show then
left for my 1-hour power walk. I went the same route as last time.
I called Jose and we rescheduled our chess match for
tomorrow.
According to my Accuweather app we’re only supposed to
reach a high of 81 degrees (with a short 1pm shower) but I changed into shorts
anyway.
I left the apt at noon and met Glenn outside Papa
John’s. I took him to Café de Otra Parte where we had a nice lunch
for 68mil (about $19). For my $11 worth I had a coconut lemonade, my favorite
pasta dish, and a slice of carrot cake with a capeccino. At 1:30 it started raining which lasted about
20 minutes. Boy did Accuweather get that one right. We left about 2:30 and I returned
to my apt. About 3pm we had another short shower (Accuweather didn’t predict
that one.)
Teresa got me an appointment for a blood test for my
prostate next Thursday morning the 24th.
I heard Trump participated in a town hall last night
and it did not go well. LOL. For a change he had to answer questions from real
Americans instead of sycophants.

Joke of
the day
There was a
young fellow named Hyde,
Who fell in
an outhouse and died.
His
unfortunate brother,
Fell
in through another,
And now
they're interred side-by-side.
