Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets, went to bed at 10pm, got up once at 3:15, finally getting up with Teresa at 6:30.
I waited 30 minutes outside Tostao for Marcos to
arrive but he was a no show. (Later he explained he was talking to a rabbi
about burial costs and procedures.)
I stopped in Mercado Madrid and bought a few things
before returning to the apt.
Teresa called City Plaza and learned the doctor is only in
Mondays to Wednesdays.
Annie James studying her Spanish.
I booked a January 12th to 22nd
Barcelo Bavaro Palace – All Inclusive vacation including airfare through
Expedia for $4566.43.
Teresa got us dental cleaning appointments with Dr. Rendon
for next Thursday at 3pm.
Today is another very cool day.
It appears my MS OneDrive Photos Gallery is full with chess
junk. I spent some time on ChatGPT trying to figure an easy way to delete
everything but it kept misleading me until my time limit ran out.
I watched another couple episodes of Designated Survivor.
Last Tuesday Alejandro asked if I’d be available Thursday
night for them to take us for dinner. I said I was but he’d better talk to
Teresa. He said Esmeralda would take care of that.
They arrived at 6pm, dropped off their motorcycle helmets on
our sofa and we walked to La Buena Mesa. We ended up at our usual restaurant,
good and not very expensive, Chiclayo. I had the chaufa de pollo and a
Coke
which couldn’t have been more than 45mil. I gifted Alejandro
three laminated Quick Study pages for Algebra I, Algebra II, and Calculus I. He
got to practice his English with me as he wants to pass the TOEFL test and
study in Finland, Australia, Canada, or the US. But that’s still a couple years
away.
We left about 7:30 and walked back to the apt and they collected
their helmets. I told him to text or call anytime he wants to practice his
English.
At 9:20 a downpour started and it was still drizzling when I
went to bed at 10:15.
FUNNY
