Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets and went to bed at 10pm, took a little while to fall asleep, got up once during the night, finally waking/getting up at 6:30.
After my shower Jose texted me that it was raining by him
and since it was also raining here we decided to cancel chess for today.
Teresa made me breakfast and I went back to bed and slept
for another 45 minutes. By the time I got up the rain had ended.
On Expedia, I found Barceló Bávaro Beach - Adults Only - All
Inclusive in Punta Cana, flights included, for $3564. Teresa thought that was
too expensive.
I checked Mariscal Robledo in Santafe de Antioquia but they have
nothing available for the dates we want.
I found a hotel called La Iguana on the way to Santafe but
the reviews said the place is old and the rooms aren’t modern and clean.
We left the apt at 11:30 for Teresa’s noon doctor’s
appointment. I took a seat in the general waiting area and she didn’t come out
until 1:45. We went next door to Boulevard where we had a nice lunch for
64,000 pesos.
We took a taxi to Viva Envigado and Teresa went to turn in
her points for something in Exito while I went up to the banking area. I withdrew
2,000,000 pesos on the first try but then it ran out of cash. I tried 2 other
ATMs but one didn’t have cash and the other wouldn’t take a debit card.
I went down to Urbania and had a latte for an hour.
As I left, I stopped at the Viajes Exito desk and picked up
a flyer they have with vacation deals. Most of them are for only 4-5 days but I
might check with the rep there tomorrow.
What Teresa ended up with for all her points was a package
of blueberries. 😊
So, I’m reading Original Sin about how Joe Biden
screwed America by not sticking to his original plan of being a one term
president. He was already 81 and starting to lose it. Sad! I propose no one can
run for federal office if they’re 70 years old or older. Also, we should have
term limits and I have other ideas but that’s for another time.
FUNNY
