Last night I took my Diphenhydramine and Zopiclona tablets, went to bed at 10:15, got up once at 3am, finally getting up with Teresa at 6:45.

Jose texted me he has a doctor’s appointment next Tuesday so we won’t be meeting for chess.

Teresa informed me she wants us to go to Premium Plaza to buy one of those walking “canes” for her mother. I got the Tecnomedica business card out of my TENS3000 unit and asked her to call first.

I left the apt at 8:15 for Smartfit and completed my workout without any problem. I was having a latte in Ganso y Castor when a light drizzle started. Teresa texted me and asked me to pick up a package in the porteria. I left at 10:15 in a light shower, stopped in the porteria for the small package and returned to the apt. The package contained nine sets of bracelet clasps and Teresa is very happy.

I think I forgot to mention I received an Amazon package last Wednesday that contained 2 sets of stereo earbuds and now my iPod works great.

We left the apt at 12:45pm and took a Didi to Tecnomedica in the Patio Bonito neighborhood of Poblado. We checked out their canes

And eventually chose the one on the right

It was 47,000 pesos and I understand MT will pay me back. (Normally I wouldn’t worry about it but I understand she has the money and she’s cheap. 😊)  It folded up easily and Teresa put it in her purse.

I used Google Maps to locate nearby restaurants and I told Teresa Restaurant Hacienda was a 12-minute walk away. As we passed Exito on Calle 10 Teresa decided we would eat there instead but all they had was Frisby and Texas BBQ. I told her we were close to Hija Mia and she remembered Olivia was nearby. As we were walking up the last block, she found this Colombian restaurant 😁

She had the bandeja paisa and I the chicken breast, we shared a bottle of water and the total check was 86,315 pesos.

We walked up to Hija Mia where we had lattes and shared a slice of banana bread. We were sitting too close to the sidewalk and over the next couple hours had half a dozen beggars asking for change.

Just as we were about to leave Teresa had a long discussion with a security guy who told her the dangers of this area.

We left at 4:30, walked up the hill to Ave Poblado and got on a Sabaneta bus back to Envigado.

Kelly arrived about 6pm to give Teresa a massage.

I told Teresa I really want to see the movie One Battle After Another (8.3). It’s 2 hours and 41 minutes long so Teresa probably isn’t interested so I’ll see it next Tuesday.

I watched another episode of Designated Survivor.

FUNNY
