Last night I took a full melatonin, went to bed at 10:45, fell asleep quickly, was awakened briefly by thunder, got up once at 5:30, finally waking/getting up at 7am.

I watched the first 20 minutes of the Today show then left for the gym.  I completed my limited set of exercises in an hour and 5 minutes.  I did increase my treadmill speed from 6.0 to 6.2 so I’m nearly running.  I could feel the difference between my knees and my ankles.

Back at the apt Teresa called me and informed me that she was still at nueve eps but she would call me when she is finished.  A few minutes later she called and asked me to meet her at La Casita Parilla for lunch.  I changed my clothes and took a bus downtown where it was just a long block walk to the restaurant.  We both had their chicken breast for 11mil.

I walked to Parva where I had a lemonade and waited for Teresa to finish getting her nails done.  She called about an hour later and told me not to wait as she won’t be done anytime soon.

I returned to the apt.

Chuck called me and he told me about the problem he’s having cancelling his AT&T service back in the States.  We agreed to meet Tuesday at Otra Parte at 5:30 and take a bus to the Medellin Guru gringo meetup in Mercado de Sabaneta.

I watched some Monday night football.

7,815 steps today.

Joke of the day
"Important Announcement: In light of the rising frequency of human - grizzly bear conflicts, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game is advising hikers, hunters, and fishermen to take extra precautions and keep alert of bears while in the field.
They advise that outdoorsmen wear noisy little bells on their clothing so as not to startle bears that aren't expecting them.
They also advise outdoorsmen to carry pepper spray with them in case of an encounter with a bear.
It is also a good idea to watch out for fresh signs of bear activity. Outdoorsmen should recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear dung.
Black bear dung is smaller and contains lots of berries and squirrel fur. Grizzly bear dung has little bells in it and smells like pepper."

    But I live in hopes!

    Cheers!
