Last night I went to bed at 10:30pm, turned on the fan, fell asleep quickly, got up at 1am and 5:30, finally waking/getting up at 6:45.

Michael resigned our
game overnight, raising my rating to 1416.
I left the apt at 8am
and walked the back streets. A paneled truck with 3 Colombians inside stopped and
asked for directions. They were visably dismayed when I told them my Spanish
wasn’t very good. I asked where they wanted to go and they showed me an address
on their cellphone which also said Villa Grande. It had to be a little north and
west of where I was standing. I gave them directions and later I confirmed with
Marcos it was his apartment complex so I did good. I completed my walk and
returned to the apt by 9am.
I beat Teresa 2-1 in
parcheesi today.
I’m hearing that
Medellin is going to be on lockdown over the weekend, through Monday but it
appears the mayor of Envigado has so far resisted going along with this order.
If Envigado isn’t included then Glenn and I can meet for breakfast in La Buena
Mesa.
Cwelch231 resigned our
game and I increased my rating to 1449. Matt Daly resigned which increased my
rating to 1454. (He was winning that game but instead of continuing to apply
pressure he hesitated which gave me an opportunity to consolidate my position
and start my own attack.)
