Last night I went to bed at 10pm (still raining), got up once at 1am (no rain), waking/getting up at 5:45.
8 days remaining.
Teresa soon left for her gym class so I’ll have my breakfast
when she returns and then wait an hour before leaving for the gym.
Troyclough blundered his queen (didn’t see my knight) on the
25th move and resigned increasing my rating to 1572.
At 8:15 I left for Smartfit. On the way I noticed
peanuts at the base of the tree where I usually leave a peanut for the
squirrels. Obviously, they aren’t getting them and the wind and rain is blowing
them off the tree so no more for that location.
I completed my workout in Smartfit and on the way to the park I noticed Olivia is ready to reopen (if it hasn’t already).

Michael walked through the park with a young brunette. A
couple men were wearing Colombian jerseys so I assume there is a game
today. I left at 10:15 and returned to
the apt.
Again, I forgot to shave before leaving for the gym, but easily
rectified.
We received our first Movistar bill by email (Yahoo)
and it’s only 44,995 pesos. Now all I have to do is figure out how to pay it.
Somehow, I lost the Main Reference Database in Chessbase 16
so I emailed the company for advice.
I left the apt at 2pm and stopped at the copy center and had
our first Movistar bill printed. I had a latte in Los Portenos
while I used Google Lens to translate portions of the bill. It appears I can
pay using a consignacion ATM machine and send a copy of the payment to their
Whatsapp number. I’ll try tomorrow and we’ll see if I have any problem.
I left at 4:15 and saw crowds gathered around televisions of
outdoor restaurants and cafes but there was a commercial so I didn’t see the
score or how far into the game they were.
Back at the apt I found the match on IPTV, Colombia, Caracol
FHD.
Just after 5pm we heard thunder overhead so I had to
disconnect the television ☹ and
soon after that the rain started. Those poor people watching the game outdoors
with no protection from the rain. (Per Google the match ended 0-0, exciting.)
Teresa was ready in her little “bikini” but Kelly didn’t
come because of the rain.
I watched another episode of Dept. Q and read some of my latest
Kindle book.
