Last night I went to bed at 10pm, got up once during the night, waking/getting up at 6:15.
In ten days, June 14th, we leave for the airport…so
the countdown begins…10
I left the apt at 8am under overcast skies and completed my
workout in Smartfit without incident.
I had a latte in Ganso y Castor and once again a
squirrel took the peanut without me noticing. I left at 10am and returned to
the apt.
I set up an account with Zelle and sent Rob $20.
I left the apt at noon, caught a Sabaneta bus on Avenida
Poblado after a 5-10-minute wait. Around the corner from Mayorca we were
stopped by a semi that apparently made a wrong turn and was backing up so it
could go straight ahead. Five minutes later I was dropped off at Mayorca. I had
a glass jar with me to recycle and for all the recycling stations they had I
didn’t see one for glass. ☹ I
know Viva Envigado has one.
I found Teresa already seated in Crepes & Waffles
having a salad from their salad bar. I had a Cesar salad with chicken and a
bottle of water and the total came to 64,350 pesos ($15.50).
I bought a medium sized carton of 18 eggs for 22,900 pesos
which comes out to 31cents per egg.
On our way back to Envigado in a taxi I told Teresa one of
the waitresses has body odor so bad I don’t want to eat there again.
She got out at the bottom of the hill from Eduardo Madrid
and I continued on to our apt.
I left the apt at 4pm but there were no tables available
when I arrived in Eduardo Madrid. I gifted them a couple of plastic
containers for reuse. A table finally came available 30 minute later and I had
a latte. Teresa arrived at 5:30 and we shared a chicken sandwich and we each
had a latte. She finished another purse, this one I believe for Vicky.
I also bought a sleeve of 6 sesame seed bagels and the total
with tip was 62,400 pesos. We left at 5:45 and returned to the apt.
I watched some MSNBC news then did some reading.
I mistakenly took my sleeping pill at 9am instead of 9:30 so
I’ll probably be conking out by 9:30. Actually it was closer to 10pm.
