Last night I went to bed at 10pm, fell asleep quickly, woke up at midnight with an itchy spot on my right ankle. I got up and put some medicine on it and also turned on the fan and returned to bed, finally waking/getting up at 6am.
According to my Fitbit, I got in 7,328 steps yesterday and
last night I slept for 6 hours and 31 minutes for a sleep score of 78.
I had a short nap (31 minutes per Fitbit) after breakfast so
my eyes feel better.
I met Marcos at 9:30 in Tostao. He told me the nurse
who told him he was being test for diabetes was not correct although he does
have slightly elevated cholesterol. We’ll know more when the test results come
back.
I stopped in Mercado Madrid on the way back to the
apt and bought a few vegetables to make lunch.
I dressed in my hiking pants and t-shirt and took a Didi to
Viva Envigado. I found Banco Av Villas empty so I quickly paid for our
apt rent. Down the hall I paid more bills using the consignacion ATM. I was in
Cine Colombia more than 30 minutes before showtime. I had a little problem with
the cashier ordering a small popcorn and a large soda, I think the girl kept
trying to get me to agree to a combo. It took 3-4 times requesting the same
thing to get my order accepted. I also bought a candy bar called a Baby
Johnny’s (in English says “since 1962”) that looked something like a Baby
Ruth but certainly wasn’t as good.
I can’t believe they’re advertising adding Doritos to your
popcorn.
I was in my seat in time to see some interesting coming
attractions including The End of Oak Street coming out in 2 weeks and Deep
Water (5.4).
The Odyssey (8.5) in IMAX was good although long and
I had to cover my ears 3-4 times when the music was too loud.
Outside the mall there was a long line for taxis so I walked
back to the apt.
I beat chesswiz98 in 39 moves increasing my rating to 1546.
I finished season 1 of Falling Skies on Netflix, finished
my latest book Two Ships by David S. Reynolds and went to bed early at 9:30.
