Last night I went to bed at 10, couldn’t fall asleep, got up and took another allergy pill, final fell asleep, got up 3 times during the night, finally waking/getting up at 8:30.
Teresa needs to buy more paint so we’re going to Panamericana
in Poblado and we’ll have lunch in Santafe mall.
New plan: We’ll have lunch at Otra Parte then
take a bus to Panamericana.
We left the apt about noon and walked to Otra Parte.
We had their menu of the day for 46,435 ($10). It was okay but not as good as Asados
Rogelio. This is a local bird that was waiting in the pond next to us.
Across the street we caught a bus to Poblado. We had some
entertainment that was so common before the pandemic.
We got off at the bus stop in front of Panamericana.
Teresa spent over an hour going through various paints and purchased quite a few
for 177,200 pesos, most 2,900 pesos each.
These brought back some memories.

We walked across the street to Santafe mall where Teresa
spent some time in Zara and Stradivarius exchanging clothes.
We stopped for a snack in Crepes & Waffles
where she had a tiramisu and I had mini-waffles with ice cream and we both had
lattes for a total of 34,050 pesos ($7).
Downstairs we picked up a few groceries in Jumbo. In
their parking garage there was a short line where Teresa found Wilson’s
girlfriend from years ago. They chatted while I waited in line and we ended up
taking a taxi together back to Envigado. Unfortunately, the driver took Ave
Poblado and it took 45 minutes to return to our apt complex. The ladies were
arguing about who would pay so at one point I said, “ninas, no peleando”, which
got a good laugh. The meter was at almost 17mil so I gave her friend 20mil as
we exited.
Today I managed 4,000 steps.
