We got up about 8am.
About 10:15 we walked to a corner store where Teresa bought a couple quarts
of paint for the finca that cost 41,000 pesos.
I added 20,000 pesos worth of minutes to the cell phone.
We stopped at a small bakery where she had a hot chocolate,
I had a cup of coffee and we each had an almojábana:
On our way back to the apartment she talked briefly with a
woman at a curtain and rug store. We
need some curtains to block the afternoon sunlight off our “balcony”.
The woman arrived just before 2pm, took some measurements, and
we ordered some vertical blinds for 440,000 (about $144). I understand we can make 2 payments – one in
June and the other in July.
About 3pm it rained for about 5 minutes.
