Last night I went to bed at 10:30, fell asleep quickly, got up once at 5:15, finally giving up going back to sleep and got up at 6am. The streets are wet and there was a light drizzle but it soon ended.
At 11:30 I used Rappi to order Frisby fried
chicken. It wouldn’t accept my debit card (thought I had already updated it) so
I paid in cash. While waiting for my order the portero gave me our Tigo/Une
wifi bill for 110mil. The muchacho arrived by 12:30 and I tipped him generously.
The afternoon news reported that Medellin’s ICU beds
are 96.9% occupied. I don’t recall the exact count but I do remember the
majority are Covid-19 patients.
At 1pm we noticed it was drizzling lightly again but
it didn’t amount to anything.
We both took a nap in the afternoon.
I beat Teresa in parcheesi today 4 games to 1.
I finished reading Susan Mallery’s paperback Amost
Perfect.

Joke of
the day
A mathematician
wanders home at 3am, and his irate wife yells, “You’re late! You said you’d be
home by 11:45!”
“Actually,”
the mathematician replies, “I said I’d be home by a quarter of 12.”
