Last night I went to bed at 10:30, fell asleep quickly, got up once at 3:15, couldn’t fall back asleep, got up at 4:30, read for 30 minutes before returning to bed, finally waking/getting up at 7:15.
I was up a Knight in a game against Michael but I had
a losing position in the endgame and it ended up a draw and I am now down to 1507.
Of course afterward the computer said I had a winning advantage so I shouldn’t
have offered a draw.
Teresa used our last 2 eggs to make blueberry pancakes
for breakfast. Unfortunately when I cut into one with my fork it splashed
blueberries onto my nice new terry cloth robe.
I took a nap before lunch.
I had a 2-hour chess lesson with Juan Castro. It
started raining about the time I started and stopped just before I finished.
Teresa beat me in parcheesi today 4 games to 2.
Tonight we ordered supper from Chiclayo the
Peruvian restaurant.
Glenn got his 2nd Pfizer vaccination today
– said they were real professional and took about an hour.
Of course we had a little rain in the evening and it
was still raining slightly when we went to bed.

She
