Last night I went to bed at 10:30, fell asleep quickly, got up twice during the night, fell back asleep quickly, finally waking/getting up at 6:45am.
Internet seems slow this morning. I did a speed test
and it’s only 13Mbps where it’s supposed to be 50-60Mbps.
I met Marcos outside his apt at 8:15. We walked to
Parque Envigado where I stopped at the copy center to pay my 3,500peso debt. The
problem is I didn’t see the female owner who allowed me to leave without paying
the other day. I saw the male owner but I didn’t want to pay him and have her
think I never paid them. The bookstore didn’t open until 9am so we had coffee at
one of the cafes I used to frequent. We left at 9:05 and they were just turning
on the lights as we entered the bookstore. We both exchanged books for 2mil
each. On our return I picked up 3 bags
of milk at the little grocery store and Marcos went on to Mercado Madrid.
I had just come out of my shower when I heard Fire
Truck sirens. I looked out the window and saw a motorcycle on fire right
outside the entrance to the car dealership parking lot. It took a couple
minutes for the firemen to hook up to a hydrant but by then the moto was
consumed even though it didn’t take long for them to put out the fire.
Teresa called me at 12:15 and we had lunch at Asados
Rogelio for 19mil each.
We reached the mid-80s today.
I had a 2-hour chess lesson with Juan Castro.
I beat Teresa in parcheesi today 4 games to 3.
Another day without rain.

Joke of
the day
Telling a chick about my ability to guess what day a woman
was born just by feeling her breasts.
"Really" she said. “I’d like to see that. Give
it a try, then."
After about thirty seconds of fondling she said,
"Come on now! On what day was I born?"
"Yesterday," I said.
