Last night I went to bed at 10:30, fell asleep quickly, got up once at 4:30, couldn’t fall back asleep, got up at 5:30.
At 6:30, after breakfast I returned to bed for a nap,
getting up at 8:30.
Teresa suggested we go for lunch at Crepes &
Waffles after her 10am gym class. Good idea since we’re under lockdown
again from 8pm tonight until 5am Monday morning.
I left at 9am for my walk, picked up 3 bags of milk at
the small grocery store and returned to the apt by 10am.
Teresa called me at 11:30. We’re going to meet at the
mall entrance at 1:30.
It’s 80 degrees at 12:45. Teresa called me at 1pm to
meet at the mall so I quickly dressed and left.
We had a nice lunch in Crepes & Waffles. I
tried the chicken curry which was very good and surprisingly served in a nice bread
bowl.
Teresa did a little shopping in Nike & Adidas
while I had coffee in Todo Fresa. After she called her mother to join us
and we had ice cream in Crepes & Waffles heladeria by the mall
entrance. I got excited because I thought I saw mint chocolate chip. It turned
out to be Guayabe con agua so it was nothing like I hoped.
MT arrived and I went to Auros and printed my
completed tax forms. I didn’t find the most important page – the signature
page. I still have a week so I’ll probably take care of it early next week. I
bought a few groceries but by the time I returned to the heladeria it was
pouring rain. We waited about 20 minures until it stopped and we returned via
taxi.
I had the advantage in a close game against Troyclough
but I miss played one move and now I don’t know if I’ve lost my advantage.
At 7:15 Teresa reminded me I forgot to buy eggs but I’m
not going out again tonight.
I finished reading Sarah Penner’s The Lost
Apothecary on my Nook.

Joke of
the day
There was this old time golfer. He played
the game for decades but always had really lousy luck playing the game. Maybe
he played for the companionship, or maybe the exercise, or maybe the drinks in
the clubhouse after the game, but as far as the game went, he had lousy luck.
It seems that his bad luck lasted to the
very end for when it was time to bury his casket, it still took six or seven
tries to sink it into its hole.
