Last night I went to bed at 10pm, fell asleep quickly, got up once at 5am, finally waking/getting up at 7:15.
I’ve sure been sleeping well at night. Teresa, not so
much according to her. Her cold isn’t any better this morning so I told her no gym
class. She’s rueing the fact she didn’t sleep in a separate bed when I first
started getting my cold although the cause might be more complicated than that.
I had an hour nap after breakfast.
I cancelled playing chess with Jose tomorrow and my
chess lesson this week.
I forgot to mention last week that I was surprised to
see a Crate & Barrel section in Falabella.
I left the apt at 10:45 and walked to the closest
pharmacy where I bought more cold tablets for me and cough medicine for Teresa.
Strangely, they don’t sell thermometers. I spent about an hour having a café con
leche at Parva and picked up milk, sugar and lettuce on my way back to
the apt.
The portero gave me our utility bill which went up a
little over 10%.
It started raining just before 3pm which didn’t last long
but it quickly cut the temperature back from 80 degrees to 74.
Teresa beat me in parcheesi today 4 games to 3.
I finished season 1 of The Crown (8.7). I’m enjoying
it very much and John Lithgow plays an amazing Winston Churchill.
