Well, Teresa decided that Guatape and Parque Arvi would be
too crowded because Monday is a holiday so she wants to go to Santafe mall
instead. And I understand today is her
sister Vicky’s birthday so Teresa’s going to try to find her a present in Zara.
The power came back on at 11:30am.
We left the finca at 1:20pm.
I gave each of the black dogs a dog biscuit.
On the way down the sideroad there are more felled trees and
it’s obvious from the large amount of sawdust that they use them to make fence
posts.
We were on a bus to Aguacatala after a 10 minute wait.
In Santafe CC Teresa did some shopping at Forever 21, Zara
and Babushka (alright I forgot the correct name). I stopped at a Huawei booth and learned
that they are selling cell phones not service but they told me there is one on
the 2nd floor. Btw, they
pronounced Huawei Wow wee. Lol.
Laura met us in J&C
Delicias where I had their teriyaki chicken arepa, Teresa had their surf
& turf and Laura had penne pasta. We
each had a juice (Teresa had 2) and the final bill including tip was 91,900
(about $30).
The ladies did some more shopping and finally Teresa found a
dress for $42. (Of course she didn’t
want to wait in line at the fitting room and when she got back to the finca she
didn’t like how it looked so she’s returning it.)
Laura waited in line for us at Cosechas for about 20 minutes
for a juice for each of us for 20mil.
We left the mall about 6:30 and were back at the finca by
8pm. (We got past the G-dogs
undetected.)
I ordered an oil lamp with oil and extra wicks from Amazon
for those times we have power outages at the finca. It only cost about $50 including
shipping. I just hope the glass lamp
doesn’t break getting here.
