Last night I took a Zopiclona and went to bed at 10:30pm, got up once at 4am, took quite a while to fall back asleep, Teresa finally woke me up at 7:15.
I left the apt just after
8am and arrived at Ganso & Castor at 8:30. Glenn, with Bianca, and
James arrived soon. James shared more about his stay in Jardin – peaceful but
boring. We had a nice breakfast and left about 10:30. I arrived back at the apt
by 11am.
Teresa was just about
ready to leave for shopping at Mayorca but she waited 5 minutes for me to
change clothes to join her. We had a 15-minute wait for a taxi then we picked
up MT and arrived at Mayorca. They did some shopping and Teresa exchanged a
blouse for a sleeveless t-shirt for me at ProChampion. We had lunch at J&C
Delicias. They shopped a bit more then we took a taxi back to Envigado.
I watched the Bears lose
to the New Orleans Saints 26-23 in overtime.
For supper I had one of
the leftover ribs which actually turned out to be miscut as two together.
The United States can
expect a 'broad surge' of COVID-19 cases as the weather cools, Dr. Deborah Birx
warned the nation's governors on Friday. She said that one third of the country
is currently a coronavirus hotspot. Birx added that people must stop indoor
gatherings with family and friends. Dr. Anthony Fauci also cautioned Friday
that the U.S. cannot afford to wait until the population reaches herd immunity
to the virus.
He warned it would mean
'so much suffering and death in the country, it would be unacceptable'. It
comes despite Trump's claims that the pandemic is 'rounding the turn' and as
the U.S. broke another single-day record for new coronavirus cases.
The
US has 9,078,485 ð 9,163,760 ð 9,278,450 coronavirus cases
with 229,200+ ð 230,100+ ð 230,800+ deaths.
Per
Medellin Guru, as of this afternoon Colombia has a total of 1,063,151 ð 1,074,184 ð 1,083,321 cases with 31,314 deaths. (I noticed the number
of deaths didn’t change but I kind of doubt that’s what happened.) Medellin has
96,571 ð 97,721 ð 98,587 cases, an increase of 811 from October 31st
to November 1st Envigado has a total of 7,357 cases, an increase of 86
from October 31st to November 1st.
Joke of
the day
On a blind date, two Cyclops said, “Hi!”
“You’re the ONE EYE adore,” they did sigh.
. . They’re now married, for years,
. . And the secret appears,
That they both seem to see eye to eye!
