Well, today is Tax Day Americans!

Last night I slept pretty well, getting up once at 5am, finally waking/getting up at 7:30.

Teresa soon left for the gym.  Afterward, she’s going downtown Medellin to pick up her cancer medication for the month.  (Last time she said she had to wait 3 hours for her turn to get her medicine.)  We’ll meet up later for lunch at La Bahia.

I took ½ an Excedrin Migraine due to the pain in my lower back.

I just received the good news this morning that I am under the threshhold for paying taxes.  Yay!

I just went to brush my teeth and we have no running water.  It must have just happened as I filled up my water bottle just after 7:30 when I got up.

I watched the first 20 minutes of the Today show and left for the gym.  The trip this time was only 5 minutes.  I showed my cedula and they let me in.  All the machines I need are clustered together on the 1st floor but I had to walk up to the 3rd floor to put my things in a locker.  One machine was a little tighter than the last gym but another was a little looser.  I completed all my exercises in an hour and 25 minutes.

Back at the apt the water was still out so I asked the portero and he said it will be out until 4pm.  I packed up some clothes and returned to the gym.  Upstairs I took a shower and changed into clean clothes – t-shirt and shorts.  On my way back downstairs I passed the young lady with all the tattoos from the first gym.

Back at the apt Teresa soon called me and asked me to meet her for lunch at La Bahia.  As I arrived she was just finishing her soup.  After she asked me where I was going and I said the mall.  She asked me to go with her to pick up her medicine downtown.
We took a bus and we got off right across the street from a small mall.  Inside we went up to the 3rd floor where Teresa got in a VERY LONG line.  All chairs inside the office were filled and people were sitting on the floor in the hallway outside.  She told me to find someplace to sit.  Down on the 2nd floor I found a food court and I soon sat down at a dirty table.  I ate some peanuts while doing chess puzzles.  I completed 50 in 3 hours.  She called me an hour later and informed me she was done.  I met her at the escalators and we walked outside and quickly caught a bus back to Envigado.

She told me she was very hungry so we got off at the mall.  Upstairs at Sarku’s we quickly got a table and she ordered chicken and I 2 appetizers - a maki roll and chicken tempura along with a juice.

We walked back to the apt and the water was back on.

I watched Chapter 6 – When and how to launch an attack.

So tonight I happened to note Teresa starting to say her rosary and it takes 30 minutes for her to finish.  Using her phone they say something and she repeats it – for 30 minutes.

6,794 steps today.

Joke of the day
A woman saying “I’m not mad at you” is like a dentist saying “You won’t feel a thing.”
