Sunday night the
Bears beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 40-23 to start the season 3-0. Per
ESPN they have now moved up to #4 in the NFL Power Rankings, behind the
Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, and New Orleans Saints.
Jay Cutler had a Quarterback rating of 90.8 in last
Sunday's game.
Regarding
Strength of Schedule. So far the teams they played in the 1st quarter
have a total of 4 wins (but then again, 3 of them have had to play
the Bears). The 2nd quarter also has a total of 4 wins, and for each of
the remaining quarters the teams have a total of 5 wins. That bodes
well for the Bears as the teams in the 1st quarter aren't as weak as
their total number of wins indicates despite losing to the Bears.
Next
up the 2-1 Detroit Lions, on the road, who are right behind the Bears
in the NFC North Standings. And the dreaded Packers are 2 games back!
Bear Down, Chicago Bears!
