I slept well despite getting up twice during the night finally waking/getting up at 8:30.

For some reason Teresa changed her massage appointment from 2pm today to noon tomorrow.

The following is from a Medellin Living article titled A Vegetarian’s Guide to Medellin.  I included it here because of their description of the plate of the day offered at many local restaurants.
Want to eat out but cheaply? Most typical Colombian restaurants will offer el plato del dia (plate of the day) for a fixed and cheap price.
It’s normally a big and filling meal existing of a soup and a plate filled with rice, beans, plantain, salad, meat and sometimes a piece of avocado.
By ordering this plate without the meat, you will still consume a lot of the vitamins and minerals you need to maintain a healthy body. Los frijoles (beans) for example contain loads of iron and protein.
The only thing that might not be sufficient will be the veggies. The salad is mostly small and doesn’t contain much more than some lettuce and a piece of tomato…
One thing they neglected to mention is a glass of juice is usually included.  And that “price” is usually $5 or less in equivalent pesos.

Among new US movie releases I would like to see Mad Max: Road Fury (9.0) and maybe Good Kill (6.3).  Locally, Mad Max: Road Fury (9.0) is playing in a lot of theatres.

This month, on my USAA monthly statement I received a $15 ATM Rebate.  Most months I don’t receive any.  I chatted with a USAA representative from 11:19 to 12:56 to find out why.  It appears I received an ATM Rebate those few months I used a Citibank ATM.

It started raining at 1:15.  It seemed to slow down after a while but then came down heavier at 1:45 and had stopped by 2pm.  It started again and didn’t stop until 3:15.

In looking for Citibank ATM locations in Medellin I found:
There are convenient ATM's (called ATH's or Cajeros in Medellin) all over Medellin.  In Banks, Malls, Grocery Stores, Casinos, Restaurants and more.  Most of them support the more popular networks like Cirrus, Plus, Maestro, MasterCard and many others. Most also have an English and Spanish language option.

Different ATMs have different per transaction limits of usually 400,000-500,000 COP.  You can do multiple transactions up to the daily limit allowed by your bank.

Now I know why I’ve not been able to withdraw an amount larger than the options listed because that exceeds their “per transaction limit”, although I am allowed to do multiple transactions.

We started watching Shindler’s List but she had already seen it.  We started watching Transsiberian, Trainspotting and Raging Bull but she didn’t like them.

While she started watching her programs at 8pm I found season 4 of Walking Dead on Netflix.

I took my sleeping pills at 10:50 and went to bed at 11pm.

T-shirt of the day: Cool times.
