Last night I took half a Zopiclona, went to bed at 10:45, got up at 2am, 4am, and woke/got up at 6:30.

This morning it’s only 64 degrees and with an expected high of only 77 degrees I’m guessing there is a good chance there will be some rain soon.

We left the apt at 8am and arrived at the Cedimed clinic on Calle 7 at 8:30.  After a short wait Teresa went in and came out 15 minutes later.  We went to the café next door for coffee and a pastry.  It sprinkled a little while we were there.  We returned an hour later and after a short wait Teresa was given some more medical results.

We quickly caught a taxi outside.  Teresa said “Santafe” to the taxi driver and a few seconds later I said “the mall not Santafe de Antioquia”.  The driver took out a chart and informed us that it would cost 270,000 pesos if we wanted to go to Sanatafe de Antioquia.  I said its better then that we go to the mall.  He got a chuckle out of that.

At the mall Teresa first checked out Zara.  Then we went to Falabella and after some time she exchanged a few things.

We had lunch in J&C Delicias and returned to the apartment by 2pm.  I took an hour nap and she took a 2-hour nap.  (One of the great things about being retired, besides not working, is being able to take naps.)

We left the apt again at 7:15 and took a taxi to Antica Pizza where we both enjoyed a slice of pizza and a drink for 38mil (about $12).
Traffic was heavy returning to the apt but we enjoyed the alumbrados (Christmas lights) near downtown Envigado.

4,707 steps today.

Joke of the day
Sally was driving home from one of her business trips in Northern Arizona when she saw an elderly woman walking on the side of the road.
As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped the car and asked the woman if she would like a ride. With a silent nod of thanks, the woman got into the car.
Resuming the journey, Sally tried in vain to make a bit of small talk with the woman.
The old woman just sat silently, looking intently at everything she saw, studying every little detail, until she noticed a brown bag on the seat next to Sally.
'What in bag?' asked the old woman. Sally looked down at the brown bag and said, 'It's a bottle of wine. I got it for my husband.'
The woman was silent for another moment or two.
Then, speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder, she said, 'Good trade.'
