Recovery Day #22!
Today is a holiday here – Colombian Independence Day.
And it’s also International Chess Day.
Last night I went to bed at 10pm, fell asleep quickly,
woke up at 1:15, and changed my AD. I worked some on the computer, watched a
little of The Handmaid’s Tale and returned to bed at 2:15. A dog barking
woke me too early, but I fell back asleep finally waking/getting up at 7:30.
Teresa spilled some coffee on the recliner while
talking to a girlfriend on her cellphone. She washed/rinsed it with a dishcloth
then set up the fan to speed up the drying process.
I had a nap after breakfast.
Today we hit a high of 88 degrees.
I had a nap after lunch.
It wasn’t until mid afternoon when I changed out of my
robe and into my pajamas.
I spent the bulk of the day watching episodes of The
Handmaid’s Tale while camped out on the recliner.
I beat Teresa in parcheesi 4 games to 1.
Teresa reminded me I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow,
but she couldn’t remember what time. I told her she told me it was at 3pm.
For supper I had corn on the cob, the best I’ve had
here but still not as good as the sweet corn in the States.
Teresa watched the 2-hour final to her Desafio program.
