Recovery Day #26!
Last night I went to bed at 10pm, fell asleep quickly,
woke up at 1am, and changed my AD. I watched a little of The Handmaid’s Tale
and returned to bed at 2am. I eventually fell back asleep finally
waking/getting up at 7:30am.
I left the apt at 10am
and walked to the mall. I printed some chess notes, recycled a couple AA
batteries at Home Center and had coffee at Todo Fresa.
I left at 11:30, bought
a couple things in Exito and returned to the apt via taxi. On the way I noticed
a dark cloud over our apt but didn’t think it would amount to anything.
Just after 12:30 we had
a downpour that lasted about 20 minutes.
I tried to watch some
Olympics but had some problems with my new TV system.
I’m registered to play
in the Flower Fair chess tournament August 4th to 8th but
I am going to play I if I’m still wearing ADs. Hoping for a miracle, I’m going
to wait until next Friday to decide.
I had a nap after
lunch.
I beat Teresa in
parcheesi today 3 games to 1.
