Recovery Day #84!
Last night I went to
bed at 10pm, got up 4 times to go to the toilet (the last time it was raining),
woke again at 6:30, went to the toilet, put in my eyedrops, did my Kegel
exercises and rested until 7am.
I left the apt at 8:10
and met Glenn with Bianca at 8:15. We had breakfast at Hija Mia in
Manila, Poblado. I had the banana bread waffle again. I asked the waitress what
you call the raspberries on my waffle and plate. She said mora. I questioned
her as I thought mora were blackberries. She showed me a photo on her cellphone
and I understand Colombian moras are redder than blackberries. Next week we’re
going to try Sweet Georgia Café at Calle 9 #43B-115 in Poblado.
We returned to Envigado
by taxi where he got out at Jumbo and I continued on to Viva Envigado. At the CaFam
pharmacy I inquired about the Anemidox that Laura wants me to send her. A
30-day supply box of capsules is 85,100 pesos. I bought 3 bags of milk and a
couple bananas and returned to the apt by taxi.
At Teresa’s request I
went to the next door Exito where I bought some Criolla potatoes so she
could make soup.
With my
salted-in-the-shell peanuts and my root beer I watched the Chicago Bears edge
the Cincinnati Bengals 20-17 to go 1-1 for the season. Our new QB Justin Fields
finally got some significant playing time.
I started watching Netflix’s
new TV mini-series Clickbait (7.3).
